To help cut down on the sites that apply to the Humor Portal we set these guidelines. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. YOUR ACCOUNT WILL NOT GET APPROVED IF YOU DON'T MEET ALL REQUIREMENTS! Thanks!

• We require an Alexa ranking of under 200,000. If you don't know your ranking, please visit Alexa.com and see where you rank. So for example, if you're ranked at 156,794 you are free to apply. If you are ranked 244,976 you are not invited to join. We only allow sites that get decent traffic into the portal. This way all the sites in the network are quality and all pass high amounts of traffic to everyone.



• Absolutely no porn sites. We have people monitoring this list all day long. Your site will be deleted and banned immediately so don't even bother creating an account.



• We prefer that your website has something to do with humor. After all, this is supposed to be a network of humor sites. However, if you run a site that is cool or interesting you're in!

Ok, so you meet the requirements and you are about to submit your site. Please read our rules and policies.

• When sending in traffic to the portal please do not pop up the voting page. Only send traffic through a standard link. We don't really care how you link to us, just as long as you are not popping up the voting button.



• When writing a description of what your site is about, please do not intentionally make your site listing stand out from the others. Don't write your description with uPPEr ANd LoWeR CAse. Don't use annoying characters like %%%###. Don't write in all CAPS. Don't end your sentences in more than 1 exclamation!!!!!!!!! Don't use swear words or bleeped out swear words like, Holy FUCING Sh!T! Please try to write an honest well written sentence or 2 about what your site is about with proper grammar and sentence structure.



• NO ADULT/BOOBIE BUTTONS! Please make sure the button you use to represent your site is clean. That means no flashing images of porn, nudity, swearing, or anything adult. We don't allow adult buttons because it will scare off people surfing at work. We want this place to look clean and not like a big porn site. And if we did allow adult buttons, every webmaster would compete with each other to see who can get the dirtiest button to lure in the most traffic. Lets keep it all clean. Please select a button that represents your site.

This is what I don't want:

• No flashing number 18's to imply adult content.
• No girls in bikini, swim suit, or any kind of banner with a girl on it.
• No Swearing or nudity of any kind.
• No Legs, boobs, or body parts.
• I appreciate your cooperation on this.
